The ASTRO 2 STARTER KIT cages consist of two parts: a plastic tray in the base, and a metal hood. They’re ideal for hamsters. The cages are equipped with ramps that allow the rodents to move between the levels. The wires of the cage are horizontal and narrowly-spaced, which, on the one hand, allows the pet to climb, and, on the other hand, makes the cage a safe refuge. Moreover, the high tray is ideal for rodents, because of their natural behaviour. Rodents love to bury themselves, and this cage is perfect for this.
